Immigrate to Canada

Let me be honest with you: I am really frustrated at the situation.

Week after week after week I receive emails from people all over the world asking me to solve their problems.

Even worst: I receive mails from people that are supposed to be able to help themselves.

They are all crybabies, waiting for someone to put the bottle in their mouths to feed them. You may be one of them. Yes, you. Do not look over your shoulder.

Today I will not only give you one of those rants, I will also help you take the first step. So the next time, you can just write to say thanks while you wipe out your tears.

It looks like this blog is growing at a very slow but steady pace. The first indication is the subscribers count, the next one are visitors but the most noticeable one are emails in my inbox.

I’m receiving emails from may countries around the world written by people from Africa, South East Asia and some European countries in crisis like Greece and Spain. The majority of them have something in common: they are highly ineffective, unreadable and (please forgive me) shameful.

I imagine that the same emails I receive from this desperate people in need of greener pastures are also sent to other recipients in Canada… with the same results: open, scan and trash. All in a 5 seconds time or less.

Today I want to help you write better emails. I want you to understand what you could do to make your emails interesting and worth the reader’s time and, of course, accomplish your target: get a chance of coming to Canada or at least obtain the information you need to start your way towards your main goal.

Jason Kenney reminds me of those Third World Presidents in love with TV cameras and flashes and showing up every day for a different announcement.

On Monday, the new Federal Skilled Trades Program. Yesterday, the changes to the CEC stream.

With this new program, they will target the lack of trade workers in some Provinces and Territories. They promised to make this a fast, reliable program… I hope so.
