You may have heard or read about this: by the end of 2001 there was a terrible economic burn out in Argentina. Pretty similar (if not the same) to what is going on now in Greece and Spain.
Things were really bad in many senses: political unrest, financial uncertainty, companies closing the doors and leaving the country, people loosing jobs, poverty and violence in the growth.
That was the time we started to seriously thinking about leaving the country.
It took us almost two years, may be a little more, to start our immigration process. Those two years were like living in hell. You never knew if you were going to make it back home alive or if tomorrow you were going to have your job. Stressful, at least. During those two years I never had a clue on how to leave the country, where to start, how to decide what was better. I was in complete blindness. If back in 2003 I could’ve been able to find some help! Or at least someone that could bring me some light so I could start walking in the right direction…!
I’m sure many of you can share my thoughts. I’ve been there so I know how to give a hand to those now in my situation.
